We’ve already made these projects a reality. Are you ready for your project to come to life next?
The Nottingham Project, Part 2: The Bedroom
As we curated this bedroom, our focus was on bringing vibrancy and fun with patterns, while maintaining a serene retreat to curl up in each evening. And somehow, we ran with a moment where our client loved the peacock curtains in her living room - and leaned into the peacock and bird décor for her bedroom.
This room became about updating her furnishings that were scaled appropriately for the bedroom, including a new velvet bed, bright dresser and nightstands and fun patterned chair. Lush textiles elevate the furnishings with new bedding, curtains, rugs and throws - with LOTS of pattern mixing! And everything becomes amplified against the Sophisticated Teal wall color, adding another layer of vibrancy.
We’re absolutely in love with this before and after, which stretched our own creative minds on this project - but importantly, our client and her cat Nanu are living their coziest evenings and lazy mornings in this bedroom retreat!
The Nottingham Project, Part 1: The Living Room
When our client came to us, ready to embrace the new year with a redesigned space - we were thrilled and honored to bring this to life. We set out to take all the incredibly cool things she already had, and highlight them in a new way to reimagine her entire home.
The living room was our first phase - taking a pale yellow room and infusing color with this Light Sage tone that envelops the room with her love of plants. We continued by de-teching her original mantle and making it the centerpiece of the room, highlighting the incredible fireplace surround with a stunning Einstein painted she’d had stored away for a decade.
Once we anchored the room around the fireplace, a layout change to repurpose her existing sofa and new leather chairs paired with a beautiful floral rug, helped create the cozy conversation area she desired.
The black shelving unit was a piece she build herself, but had been hiding behind the sofa previously - so we brought it out as an open-storage area to show off her book collection, knitting supplies and act as a new entertainment center opposite the fireplace.
Lastly, a new layer of textiles - from pillows to curtains to blankets - helped amp up the cozy space she desired. And even more, her princess Nanu has found all the best cozy spots to survey her new surroundings from.

The Lemp Project: Welcome to Our Home
A house becomes a home when it expresses your individual style and is an outward reflection of what brings you joy. For us, bringing our love for both mid-century and industrial styles into a historic brick rowhouse was a unique challenge - and one that continues to evolve over time!
Our home is a beautiful three-level rowhouse in the historic Benton Park neighborhood of Saint Louis, built in the French Colonial style that nods to the French influence on the city. The main level is the primary entertaining space, with an open concept living-dining room and kitchen. Take the original staircase to the second level, which hosts the primary bedroom and an office. And on the third level, a stunning exposed brick stairwell brings you to a full-level guest suite.
We believe our home is a fusion of saturated and moody color palettes, furnishings that make a statement, a diverse range of artwork - but most importantly, a cozy and inviting space for us to enjoy every day. It’s a space where we can be our most comfortable with each other, host friends and family for a game night, and continue to push ourselves creatively to keep things fresh as the seasons change.
The Lemp Project is a love story that is uniquely us, and one we hope gives a great view into our personal aesthetic!
